What is it and how does it work?Vigortrix
Running out of steam by the afternoon, stress, less drive than before: many men look for a simple way to round out their diet. Vigortrix is a dietary supplement in capsules, sold on its official website as a plant-based formula for men's vitality.
Each bottle holds 30 capsules and lasts 30 days at one capsule a day. The formula combines five roots: turmeric and beet as powders, plus three concentrated extracts (nettle 4:1, ashwagandha 20:1, tongkat ali 10:1). According to the label, Vigortrix is made in the USA from globally sourced ingredients, and the website says it contains no stimulants.
None of these five roots has an authorised health claim in the EU: claims for plants are still "on hold" in the official register1, and the list of authorised claims includes none for them2.
That is why we do not repeat the website's promises about energy, circulation or performance: in the US, the label itself says these statements have not been evaluated by the authorities. What can be checked is the formula, and the studies on its roots, which we summarise further down. No study has been published on Vigortrix itself.
Let's be realistic: no supplement guarantees a result. Age, sleep, diet, exercise and overall health all play a big part, and every man responds differently.
The formula
Tap an ingredient to see its dose. The label gives the amount of each root per capsule3. Good to know: the text of the official website talks about "four roots" and leaves out tongkat ali, which is on the label; we stick to the label.
- Turmeric root powder – 150 mg: The golden root used as a spice all over the world. Its most studied compound, curcumin, makes up only a few per cent of the powder.
- Beet root powder – 150 mg: A vegetable naturally rich in nitrates, which the body uses to make nitric oxide.
- Nettle root extract (4:1) – 50 mg: Nettle root has a long tradition in men's formulas, mainly for urinary comfort.
- Ashwagandha root extract (20:1) – 50 mg: A plant from the Ayurvedic tradition, very common in supplements for everyday stress.
- Tongkat ali root extract (10:1) – 50 mg: A root from Southeast Asia, common in men's vitality formulas.
Ingredients on the label: turmeric (Curcuma longa) (root) powder, beet (Beta vulgaris) (root) powder, nettle (Urtica dioica) (root) extract (4:1), ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) (root) extract (20:1), tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia Jack) (root) extract (10:1). Other ingredients: gelatin (bovine) capsule, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.
Dosage and useOne a day
Directions on the label: take one (1) capsule a day with an 8 oz (about 240 ml) glass of water, ideally 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dose. A bottle of 30 capsules therefore lasts 30 days.
- Take the capsule every day, ideally at the same time
- Swallow it with a large glass of water, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal
- Eat a varied, balanced diet
- Stay active and get enough sleep
- Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from heat and light
- Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing
Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of children.
Side effectsIs it safe?
The roots in Vigortrix are common in dietary supplements and are usually well tolerated. Digestive upset, intolerances or allergic reactions are still possible: if that happens, stop taking it and ask a doctor for advice.
According to the label, the product is not suitable for people under 18 or for pregnant or nursing women, and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a doctor before using it. This matters all the more because ashwagandha and turmeric can interact with some medicines (for example for the thyroid or to prevent blood clots): if you take medication, talk to your doctor first.
Do not take more than one capsule a day. Vigortrix is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Safety and money-back guarantee60 days covered

According to the refund policy, you contact customer support within 60 days of purchase; you pay the cost of returning the bottles to the address in the USA (PO Box 12730, Ogden, UT 84412).
Payment is a one-time charge through BuyGoods, an online sales platform, by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The website and checkout are in US dollars: outside the US, your bank may add a currency conversion fee.
Where to buyThe official packs
If you want to try Vigortrix, pay attention to where you buy it. We recommend the official website: a product bought elsewhere may not be covered by the 60-day guarantee, and its origin and composition cannot be checked.

Pharmacy or Amazon?Where it is sold
Many people look for Vigortrix in pharmacies or on Amazon. The manufacturer asks customers to buy only on its official website, vigortrix.com, and that is the only place where we could check the offer, the prices and the 60-day guarantee.

- Sold on vigortrix.com, with a 60-day guarantee
Why buy from the official website

- Price, delivery cost and total are shown before you pay
Is Vigortrix a scam?The facts
Before buying a men's supplement online, it makes sense to look closely at the offer. The market is full of exaggerated promises, and the Vigortrix website is very enthusiastic; we do not repeat its promises. What matters is what is in the bottle: a dietary supplement with a dosed label, not a medicine.
What is reassuring
- Label with the dose of all 5 roots
- 60-day money-back guarantee, even for empty bottles
- One-time payment through BuyGoods, no forced subscription
- Price and delivery cost shown before you pay
Good to know
- The website text talks about four roots; the label lists five, including tongkat ali
- The doses are far below those used in studies
- No study has been published on Vigortrix itself
- Ships from the USA: longer delivery times and possible import charges outside the US
- Results vary from person to person
Our verdict: Vigortrix is not a scam in the sense of a product that never arrives or an unsafe payment: the label is complete, payment goes through BuyGoods and the guarantee is in writing. But it is a dietary supplement, not a treatment, and it does not replace a balanced diet or medical advice. If you want to try it, order from the official website so the guarantee applies.

Studies cited
For each ingredient, we list two studies found in the scientific literature. The summaries describe what each study measured and found. They do not promise results: most of these studies are small, short, or show mixed outcomes.
Turmeric root (Curcuma longa)
Randomised, placebo-controlled trial in 39 healthy men and postmenopausal women aged 45 to 74. 2,000 mg a day of a curcumin formulation for 12 weeks. Endothelial function (how well the arteries widen) improved by about 36% with curcumin and did not change with placebo; arterial stiffness did not change.
Limitation: Small study of a concentrated curcumin product. Vigortrix contains 150 mg of turmeric root powder a day and does not state its curcumin content, which in plain turmeric powder is only a few per cent.
Santos-Parker JR, Strahler TR, Bassett CJ, et al. Aging (Albany NY). 2017;9(1):187-208. PMID 28070018 · Read on PubMed
Double-blind, randomised, controlled trial in 22 young men with obesity. 500 mg a day of a more absorbable curcumin for 12 weeks. Homocysteine fell and HDL cholesterol rose compared with the control group, but endothelial function and blood pressure did not change.
Limitation: Very small sample, and the result on blood flow was negative. The curcumin was a special formulation, not turmeric root powder like the one in Vigortrix.
Campbell MS, Ouyang A, I M K, et al. Nutrition. 2019;62:135-139. PMID 30889454 · Read on PubMed
Beet root (Beta vulgaris)
Meta-analysis of 118 studies on endurance exercise. Nitrate-rich foods gave a small but significant benefit in endurance performance; among them, beetroot showed benefit. No effect was found in women.
Limitation: The benefit is small and was measured in endurance tests. Vigortrix contains 150 mg of beet root powder a day and does not state its nitrate content; the studies used far larger amounts of nitrate, usually as concentrated juice.
d'Unienville NMA, Blake HT, Coates AM, et al. J Int Soc Sports Nutr. 2021;18(1):76. PMID 34965876 · Read on PubMed
Systematic review and meta-analysis of 9 studies (11 trials) with 228 participants. Inorganic nitrate added to exercise training did not improve VO2peak or time to exhaustion more than training alone.
Limitation: Few studies, and the result was negative. As above, 150 mg of beet root powder provides far less nitrate than the amounts tested.
Hogwood AC, Anderson KC, Ortiz de Zevallos J, et al. Sports Med Open. 2023;9(1):84. PMID 37697072 · Read on PubMed
Nettle root (Urtica dioica)
Six-month randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 620 men with urinary symptoms from an enlarged prostate. 81% of the nettle group reported fewer symptoms, against 16% with placebo, and urine flow improved. Testosterone and PSA levels did not change in either group, and no side effects were found.
Limitation: It is about urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate, not sexual function, and testosterone did not change. The abstract does not give the dose; Vigortrix contains 50 mg of a 4:1 nettle root extract a day.
Safarinejad MR. J Herb Pharmacother. 2005;5(4):1-11. PMID 16635963 · Read on PubMed
Laboratory study: lignans isolated from nettle root, and the compounds the gut makes from them, were tested for binding to human sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). All but one bound to SHBG in the test tube.
Limitation: Test tube only, no people; it does not show any effect on testosterone in the body.
Schöttner M, Gansser D, Spiteller G. Planta Med. 1997;63(6):529-32. PMID 9434605 · Read on PubMed
Ashwagandha root (Withania somnifera)
Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial in overweight men aged 40 to 70 with mild fatigue (57 enrolled). An ashwagandha extract providing 21 mg of withanolide glycosides a day for 8 weeks. Testosterone rose 14.7% and DHEA-S 18% more than with placebo, but fatigue, vigour and sexual well-being did not differ between groups.
Limitation: Small trial; hormones were measured in saliva and the symptoms people felt did not change. Vigortrix contains 50 mg of a 20:1 extract and does not state its withanolide content, so the dose cannot be compared.
Lopresti AL, Drummond PD, Smith SJ. Am J Mens Health. 2019;13(2):1557988319835985. PMID 30854916 · Read on PubMed
Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 64 adults under chronic stress. 300 mg of root extract twice a day for 60 days. Stress scores and serum cortisol fell more than with placebo.
Limitation: Small, single-centre study; the main outcome was self-reported. The dose was 600 mg of extract a day; Vigortrix contains 50 mg of a 20:1 extract and does not state its withanolide content.
Chandrasekhar K, Kapoor J, Anishetty S. Indian J Psychol Med. 2012;34(3):255-62. PMID 23439798 · Read on PubMed
Tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia)
Six-month randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 45 men with androgen deficiency of ageing (average age 47). 200 mg of Eurycoma longifolia a day, with or without concurrent training. Erectile function improved in the groups that took the extract and in those that trained; the best result came from training plus the extract.
Limitation: There was no group with the extract alone, so its effect cannot be separated from training. The dose was 200 mg a day; Vigortrix contains 50 mg of a 10:1 extract.
Leitão AE, Vieira MCS, Pelegrini A, da Silva EL, Guimarães ACA. Maturitas. 2021;145:78-85. PMID 33541567 · Read on PubMed
Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 32 healthy young men. 600 mg a day for two weeks. Total and free testosterone and oestradiol were higher than with placebo; LH and FSH did not change.
Limitation: Two weeks only, small sample of healthy young men, no sexual function measured; 600 mg a day is twelve times the 50 mg in Vigortrix.
