What is it and how does it work?AlphaFuel Pro
Less energy, less drive, less confidence than before: with age and stress, plenty of men recognise themselves here. AlphaFuel Pro is a food supplement sold as a "Men's Vitality" formula, built on six herbs that are common in men's products.
The idea is simple: two capsules a day with water, preferably with a meal. The official website names stinging nettle, tongkat ali, horny goat weed (epimedium), saw palmetto, wild yam root and sarsaparilla root, and the front of the bottle states 118 mg per serving for the whole blend. A bottle holds 60 capsules, one month of use. According to the website, it is made in the USA in an FDA-registered facility (registration is not an approval of the product).
None of these six herbs has an authorised health claim in the EU: claims for plants are still "on hold" in the official register1, and the list of authorised claims includes none for them2.
The sales page talks about "7 botanical extracts" but names only six, and makes strong promises about performance that we do not repeat: in the US, these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. What can be checked is the formula, and the studies on its herbs, which we summarise further down.
Let's be realistic: no supplement guarantees results. Age, sleep, diet, exercise and overall health matter a great deal, and every man responds differently.
The formula
Tap an ingredient to learn more. The six herbs appear in the order of the official website3. The label states 118 mg per serving for the whole blend, but not the dose of each herb, so we cannot show how much of each one you get.
- Stinging nettle: A common wild plant of Europe and Asia, used in herbal medicine mainly for its root and leaves. The website does not say which part is used.
- Tongkat ali: The root of a shrub from Southeast Asia, very common in men's formulas. It is the herb with the most studies in men in this formula.
- Horny goat weed: A plant from Chinese tradition, known there as yin yang huo.
- Saw palmetto: A small palm from the southeastern United States, used for its berries.
- Wild yam root: The root of a climbing plant that contains diosgenin, a plant compound used by industry as a raw material for making steroids.
- Sarsaparilla root: The root of a climbing plant from the Americas, long used in traditional drinks and herbal remedies.
The official website names six herbs: Urtica dioica (stinging nettle), Eurycoma longifolia (tongkat ali), Epimedium, Serenoa repens (saw palmetto), wild yam root and sarsaparilla root. It also mentions "7 botanical extracts" without naming the seventh, and one of its references is about boron. The label states 118 mg per serving (two capsules).
How to take itTwo a day
Suggested use: two (2) capsules a day with water, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed this dose. A 60-capsule bottle therefore lasts one month.
- Take your capsules every day, at the same time
- Swallow them with a full glass of water, ideally with a meal
- Eat a varied, balanced diet
- Stay active and get enough sleep
- Store the bottle in a cool, dry place
- Keep your expectations realistic
A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The official website says that the longest effects are expected after 3 to 6 months of use; we do not repeat its promises.
Side effectsIs it safe?
AlphaFuel Pro contains herbs that are common in supplements. The official website says it has no side effects, but individual intolerances are always possible: if you notice stomach upset or an allergic reaction, stop taking it and see a doctor.
Some of these herbs can act on hormones or interact with medication, and the label does not give the dose of each one. The website advises talking to a doctor before you start if you are taking medication or have a medical condition, and the product is not intended for anyone under 18.
Do not use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing, and keep the bottle out of reach of children. AlphaFuel Pro is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for medical advice or prescribed treatment.
Safety and money-back guaranteeCovered for 60 days
According to the official website, every order is covered by a 60-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, even if the bottles are empty. You first email customer support for a return authorisation (RMA) number, then send the parcel back within 14 days to the returns address in Florida (USA); return postage is paid by the customer.
The return policy also includes a general clause saying that sale items cannot be refunded. If in doubt, ask customer support before you order and keep the written answer.
You pay once on the official website, through the BuyGoods platform, by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The website states that the product is made in the USA in an FDA-registered facility and is dispatched in 2 to 3 days in the US; international orders take longer.
Where to buyThe official packs
The safest option is the official website. A product bought elsewhere may not be covered by the guarantee, and there is no way to check where it came from or what is inside. According to the website's pack images, two e-books are included free of charge.
- The original product
- A 60-day money-back guarantee
- A one-time payment, no subscription
- Card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay
Prices as of 21 October 2026, in US dollars, at the official checkout. Delivery to Ireland or the UK costs $9.95 whatever the pack size; your bank may add a currency conversion fee, and import VAT or duty may apply. Prices may change; the official website always shows the current price.
Pharmacy or Amazon?Where you can find it
Many people look for AlphaFuel Pro in pharmacies or on Amazon. When we checked on 21 October 2026, Amazon.com showed listings under the AlphaFuel Pro name from third-party sellers that we could not confirm come from the manufacturer, one of them with 90 capsules, while the official bottle holds 60. The 60-day guarantee only applies to orders placed on the official website.
The AlphaFuel Pro in this review
- Black bottle with an orange "Men's Vitality" label, 60 capsules
- "118 mg per serving" printed on the front
- Sold on alphafuelpro.com, with the 60-day guarantee
Why buy from the official website
- It is where the original AlphaFuel Pro is sold
- The 60-day money-back guarantee applies
- Price, delivery and total are shown before you pay
Is AlphaFuel Pro a scam? The facts
The men's supplement market is full of exaggerated promises, and AlphaFuel Pro's sales page is no exception: it talks about "hydraulic repair" and ancient Roman secrets. We do not repeat those promises. What matters is what is in the bottle: a food supplement with six named herbs, not a medicine.
Reassuring points
- The six herbs are named on the official website
- Payment through a well-known platform (BuyGoods), no subscription
- 60-day money-back guarantee with a written return procedure
- Returns address and customer support contact published
Worth knowing
- The dose of each herb is not stated
- The sales page promises much more than the studies show
- Delivery outside the US and return postage cost extra
- Its claims have not been evaluated by the FDA
- Results vary from person to person
Our verdict: AlphaFuel Pro is a food supplement, not a treatment for erectile dysfunction. Its formula is only partly transparent and the evidence for its herbs is limited. If you want to try it, buy from the official website to be covered by the 60-day guarantee, and factor delivery into the final price.

Studies cited
For each ingredient, we list two studies found in the scientific literature. The summaries describe what each study measured and found. They do not promise results: AlphaFuel Pro does not state the dose of each herb (the whole blend is 118 mg per serving), most of these studies are small, short or done in the laboratory, and several found no effect.
Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica)
Six-month randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 620 men with urinary symptoms from an enlarged prostate. 81% of the nettle group reported fewer symptoms, against 16% with placebo, and urine flow improved. Testosterone and PSA levels did not change in either group, and no side effects were found.
Limitation: It is about urinary symptoms, not sexual function, and testosterone did not change. AlphaFuel Pro does not state its nettle dose (the whole six-herb blend is 118 mg per serving).
Safarinejad MR. J Herb Pharmacother. 2005;5(4):1-11. PMID 16635963 · Read on PubMed
Laboratory study: lignans isolated from nettle root, and the compounds the gut makes from them, were tested for binding to human sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). All but one bound to SHBG in the test tube.
Limitation: Test tube only, no people; it does not show any effect on testosterone in the body. The official website does not say which part of the nettle is used.
Schöttner M, Gansser D, Spiteller G. Planta Med. 1997;63(6):529-32. PMID 9434605 · Read on PubMed
Tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia)
Six-month randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 45 men with androgen deficiency of ageing (average age 47). 200 mg of Eurycoma longifolia a day, with or without concurrent training. Erectile function improved in the groups that took the extract and in those that trained; the best result came from training plus the extract.
Limitation: There was no group with the extract alone, so its effect cannot be separated from training; the dose (200 mg a day) is more than the whole 118 mg AlphaFuel Pro blend.
Leitão AE, Vieira MCS, Pelegrini A, da Silva EL, Guimarães ACA. Maturitas. 2021;145:78-85. PMID 33541567 · Read on PubMed
Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 32 healthy young men. 600 mg a day for two weeks. Total and free testosterone and oestradiol were higher than with placebo; LH and FSH did not change.
Limitation: Two weeks only, small sample of healthy young men, no sexual function measured; 600 mg a day is about five times the whole AlphaFuel Pro blend.

Horny goat weed (Epimedium)
Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 58 post-menopausal women. 740 mg a day of an Epimedium prenylflavonoid extract for six weeks. No significant adverse effects and no changes in liver, blood or kidney tests were found; bone markers changed only slightly.
Limitation: Studied women and focused on safety; it does not measure male sexual function, and it used 740 mg a day of a concentrated extract, more than six times the whole AlphaFuel Pro blend.
Yong EL, Cheong WF, Huang Z, et al. Phytomedicine. 2021;91:153680. PMID 34352588 · Read on PubMed
Placebo-controlled crossover trial in 29 men with Gulf War Illness. Epimedium was tested at two doses, each for 30 days. Symptoms did not improve significantly compared with placebo at either dose.
Limitation: Small, specific population and preliminary results; it does not measure sexual function.
Younger J, Donovan EK, Hodgin KS, Ness TJ. Int J Environ Res Public Health. 2021;18(7):3671. PMID 33915962 · Read on PubMed
Note: Human evidence for Epimedium is scarce, and neither study found a positive effect on male sexual function.
Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens)
Cochrane review of 32 randomised trials with 5,666 men with urinary symptoms from an enlarged prostate. Saw palmetto was no better than placebo for urinary symptoms, night-time urination, urine flow or prostate size, even at double and triple doses.
Limitation: It is about the prostate, not sexual function or testosterone; the trials used standardised extracts, while AlphaFuel Pro does not state its saw palmetto dose.
Tacklind J, MacDonald R, Rutks I, et al. Cochrane Database Syst Rev. 2012;12:CD001423. PMID 23235581 · Read on PubMed
Updated Cochrane review of 27 trials with 4,656 men. Saw palmetto alone made little or no difference to urinary symptoms or quality of life, and probably made little or no difference to side effects.
Limitation: Same limits as above: urinary outcomes only, in men with an enlarged prostate.
Franco JVA, Trivisonno LF, Sgarbossa N, et al. World J Mens Health. 2024;42(3):518-530. PMID 38164033 · Read on PubMed
Note: The official website presents saw palmetto as a "circulation optimizer"; neither review measured circulation or sexual function.
Wild yam root (Dioscorea)
Double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial in 23 healthy menopausal women, who applied a wild yam cream for three months. Hormone levels, cholesterol and blood pressure did not change, and symptoms were no different from placebo. No side effects were reported.
Limitation: Women only and a cream applied to the skin, not a capsule; it measured nothing related to men.
Komesaroff PA, Black CV, Cable V, Sudhir K. Climacteric. 2001;4(2):144-50. PMID 11428178 · Read on PubMed
Study in volunteers aged 65 to 82. Three weeks of a yam (dioscorea) extract did not raise blood levels of the hormone DHEA-S; it lowered lipid oxidation and triglycerides and raised HDL cholesterol.
Limitation: Small, short and old study, with no sexual function or testosterone measured; AlphaFuel Pro does not state its wild yam dose.
Araghiniknam M, Chung S, Nelson-White T, Eskelson C, Watson RR. Life Sci. 1996;59(11):PL147-57. PMID 8795709 · Read on PubMed
Note: Neither study found a change in hormone levels after taking wild yam.
Sarsaparilla root (Smilax)
Review of the steroidal saponins (104 compounds) described in Smilax plants between 1967 and 2016 and of their biological activity in laboratory studies. These plants are used in folk medicine for inflammatory conditions.
Limitation: A chemistry review with no trials in people; it does not show any effect in humans.
Tian LW, Zhang Z, Long HL, Zhang YJ. Nat Prod Bioprospect. 2017;7(4):283-298. PMID 28646341 · Read on PubMed
Study in castrated rats whose prostate was enlarged with testosterone injections. A fraction of Smilax china given for three weeks reduced the enlargement and the level of DHT in the blood.
Limitation: Rats, one specific species and a purified fraction at 300 to 600 mg per kg of body weight; the official website does not say which sarsaparilla species it uses.
Chen J, Xiong CM, Song SS, Han P, Ruan JL. J Med Food. 2012;15(7):646-50. PMID 22510101 · Read on PubMed
Note: We found no trial in people on sarsaparilla and sexual function or testosterone.
